Prof. Eric Ford will lead a discussion of “Exoplanets and the Search for Habitable Worlds” as part of Penn State’s Research Unplugged series.

Are there habitable planets beyond our solar system? Join “planet hunter” Eric Ford, director of Penn State’s Center for Exoplanets and Habitable Worlds, to explore the possibility of life beyond Earth and the origins of our own solar system. Discover what makes a habitable zone, learn about some of the bizarre worlds scientists have discovered among the 900-plus exoplanet discoveries, and bring your questions for an out-of-this-world conversation.
